Vodafone Mobile Payment Billed Me for FitMe App I Never Installed
On September 1, I discovered that a FitMe app subscription — a service I have never heard of or used — was purchased through Vodafone Mobile Payment without my knowledge or consent. I never approved any payment either to FitMe or Vodafone Mobile Payment, yet ₺263.9 ($8) was charged to my line on the same day. The app is not installed on my phone, and I had never even heard of its name before this incident.
When I contacted Vodafone customer service, they told me that the FitMe subscription was approved via mobile confirmation. However, I never gave such approval, and I cannot understand how this transaction was carried out without my authorization.
I request a full refund of the ₺263.9 ($8) that was charged without my consent and a thorough investigation into how this happened. The incident occurred in Diyarbakır, and I kindly ask that appropriate action be taken to prevent similar issues for other customers.
