FitMe App Charged My Vodafone Bill Without Permission

September 17, 2025 3:23 PM107

On September 13, I was subscribed to a service called FitMe through my Vodafone line, without my knowledge or consent, simply because I accidentally clicked on an advertisement. As a result, $8 was charged for the subscription, and an additional $1 was billed under the “Charge to Bill” feature — totaling $9 added to my phone bill. I immediately canceled the subscription as soon as I noticed it.

When I contacted Vodafone customer service, they said they were merely an intermediary and could not help with a refund. However, I have never used this service, and the subscription occurred without my explicit approval.

I request a full refund of the $9 that was unfairly charged to my account and ask that this issue be resolved promptly to prevent further inconvenience.
