Unauthorized $7 Charge by FitMe Added to My Bill Without Consent
On September 9, 2025, a ₺229 ($7) charge was added to my Turkcell phone bill through a service called FitMe, without my knowledge or consent. Even though the “charge to my bill” feature was disabled, the payment was still processed — and I never approved or confirmed any such transaction.
I contacted both FitMe and Turkcell customer service regarding the issue. However, FitMe informed me that the payment was still collected despite the charge option being disabled, and that I was obligated to pay. I want to emphasize that this transaction occurred entirely without my authorization, and I did not consent to any charges.
This is the first time I’ve experienced such an issue, and I’m requesting a refund of the ₺229 ($7) that was wrongly billed to my account. I also ask that necessary measures be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future and to resolve my grievance.
