I Got Charged ₺263.90 by FitMe After Accidental Click, Despite Canceling Immediately

March 28, 2025 12:49 AM24

While trying to open a simple PDF file, a FitMe advertisement popped up unexpectedly. I accidentally clicked on it, but I did not request or use any service from FitMe. Realizing the mistake immediately, I called Vodafone customer service right away and had the subscription canceled on the spot.

Despite canceling the membership immediately and never using the service, I was still charged ₺263.90 on my Vodafone bill. I find it extremely unfair and unethical to be billed for something I didn’t intentionally subscribe to and never used. This feels like a trap—punishing users for a single accidental tap.

I’m requesting a full refund of the ₺263.90 that was wrongfully billed to me. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board and pursue my rights through all available legal channels. I expect Vodafone and FitMe to take this matter seriously and stop charging users for unintentional, unused services.
