I keep getting inaccurate locations on Findmykids, what steps should I take to fix this?

If Findmykids shows inaccurate locations,

Improve location accuracy first;

• On your child’s phone:
– Turn ON High accuracy (GPS + Wi-Fi + mobile data)
– Enable Precise location (not approximate)

• Important:
– Low accuracy mode is the most common cause

Check permissions;

• Go to:
– Settings → Apps → Findmykids → Permissions

• Set:
– Location → Always allow
– Allow background access

Fix battery restrictions;

• Go to:
– Battery → App settings

• Set Findmykids to:
– Unrestricted / No limits
