Findmykids iPhone App Sound Not Working and Pin Missing

Because I am using an iPhone, the sound feature in Findmykids does not work. Please help me with this issue. Also, the map used to have a pin button for marking locations, but now the pin is gone. When I try to mark something, it takes me back to the start of the map, which makes it very difficult to use. Even though I have internet, I still cannot locate my child. It looks as if the child is missing from the app.
