Files Editor Billing.com Charge Dispute and Refund Request
For the past two days, I have been unable to cancel my trial version, daily usage option, or subscription through the Files Editor company’s own website. There is no subscription cancellation button in my account or on the website, and during this process, $39 was charged to me.
I emailed the company to cancel the subscription and request a refund for the amount I paid, but I have not received any response. I cannot cancel my subscription, and I cannot get back the fee I was charged.
I am requesting that Files Editor immediately cancel my subscription and fully refund the $39 charged to my card.
Through the Files Editor website, I knowingly and willingly approved a payment of $1 for only a one-time PDF conversion transaction. Other than that, I did not request any membership, automatic renewal, or additional service.
On March 27, 2026, I noticed that a pending authorization charge of $39 had been placed under the name “billing.com” on my Ziraat debit card ending in 2409, without my knowledge or approval. I did not give explicit consent for this amount, and the transaction currently appears as pending.
Even if you claim that a membership was created under a “trial version,” I would like to clearly state that:
Although there is a cancellation option on the account screen, this option does not work,
No confirmation message, record, or notification is generated to show that the cancellation has been completed,
As a result, the user is effectively left unable to cancel the membership.
I request that this pending authorization transaction, which was taken without my knowledge or explicit consent, be:
Canceled immediately,
Prevented from being finalized on my card,
Explained to me in writing regarding the process,
Refunded to me in full.
Otherwise, I will initiate a chargeback process through my bank and exercise my legal rights by filing complaints with the relevant authorities.
I expect this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
