Fanduel Blocked My Account Without Explanation After Just Weeks of Use
Look elsewhere if you respect your money and peace of mind. For a few weeks, I experimented with FanDuel only to have them abruptly block my account without any apparent reason. Their customer service is virtually non-existent, and the little answers I got were disturbing. I felt uneasy when they requested all sorts of personal information, including evidence of my whereabouts. Although they did not want my bank account or SSN, their degree of scrutiny made me uncomfortable. Eventually, they said that since my spouse and I had shared the same computer, my account was blocked forever. Fortunately, I sold any gains straight away. While this is a relief, the incident has totally turned me off FanDuel.
