Google Family Link Deleted My Kids’ Accounts and Years of Photos and Emails

A few years ago, I installed Google Family Link on my children's phones to help manage their screen time and app usage. Now, as one of my kids turns 15 and the others approach 14, I deeply regret that decision. When they turned 13, I was told that the only way to remove Family Link was to delete their Google accounts entirely.

As a result, my children lost years of personal data—including photos they drew, emails, and Google Photos memories. Those accounts are now gone, and I can’t even reactivate them. Although I’ve removed Family Link, the damage is done. Their phones are practically unusable, and they’re sad about losing everything. I can’t even locate their devices anymore.
