Family Link Took Over My Account and Now I Can’t Remove Parental Controls

Family Link has completely taken over my account and made my digital life unbearable. Somehow, my account was added under Family Link as a child account—even though it’s my personal main account that I use for everything, including important apps and services.

Now I’m stuck. I can’t remove the parental controls, I can’t delete the account, and I can’t even switch to another profile without losing access to critical apps tied to this Google account. Every time I try to make changes, Family Link restrictions block me.

This is beyond frustrating. I’m not a child, yet I’m locked out of full control over my own account. There’s no clear way to reverse this, and support options are vague and unhelpful.
