FaceApp Wrongfully Billed Me Despite Canceling Trial

On August 30, 2025, I downloaded the FaceApp application on my iPhone 11 and activated the 7-day free trial. On September 2, 2025, I canceled the subscription before the trial period ended. However, despite canceling in time, a 1-year Pro subscription was automatically created without my consent, and a charge of ₺1,000 was added to my account.

I did not authorize or complete this payment, yet because of this pending charge, my App Store account has been restricted. Currently, I am unable to download new apps or update existing ones on my device.

When I contacted App Store customer support, they told me to reach out to the developer directly for resolution. This is the first time I have ever experienced such an issue, and I am facing an unfair restriction on my account despite canceling properly.

I am requesting that my App Store account be restored to normal usage immediately and that this unauthorized subscription charge of ₺1,000 be removed. Customers should not be penalized for canceling a free trial on time, and I expect my case to be resolved quickly.
