FaceApp Charged $28 Instead of the $2 Monthly Fee Shown
I started a subscription through the FaceApp application. While I believed I was agreeing to a monthly fee of around $2, I noticed on June 21st that $28 had been withdrawn from my İş Bankası card without my clear knowledge or consent. I was given no transparent information about the billing structure or this much larger amount at any point during the subscription process.
After discovering what had happened, I submitted a support request through FaceApp but have received absolutely no response to this day. I am suffering real harm both from the lack of upfront disclosure and from having an unexpected and unauthorized amount charged to my card.
I am demanding that my FaceApp subscription be canceled immediately and that the full $28 taken from my card be refunded to me without any deductions.
