Economy Bookings Advertised Unlimited Mileage but Rental Company Imposed Limits
We rented a car for 9 days through Richt Rent A Car using the Economy Bookings website. We went to pick up the car at the scheduled time. During the booking process, the rental clearly stated unlimited mileage, and we completed the reservation based on that information.
However, when we arrived at the pickup location, we were told that the mileage was not unlimited, that there was a 150 km daily limit, and that 7 TRY would be charged for each additional kilometer. We did not accept these terms, refused to take the car, and canceled the rental on the spot. Despite this, Economy Bookings has not refunded our payment.
It is impossible to reach them by phone, and when they respond via email from foreign numbers, the replies are irrelevant and unhelpful.
