Car rental prices on the Economy Bookings website look very affordable, but when you arrive at the rental company, they quote you a price that is four times higher. The same thing happened to us. We rented a car in Miami for 10 days, and when we went to the rental company, they demanded an additional $800 from us.
We told them that we did not want to pay this amount, that we were not informed of such a price, and that no prior notice or disclosure was given. As a result, we decided not to proceed with the rental. We tried calling Economy Bookings multiple times, but we were unable to reach anyone, so we sent an email requesting a refund. However, we received a negative response.
In the end, we paid for a service we never received, and we are unable to get our money back.
