We got the Dyson V8 Absolute a while ago, and I developed calluses on my right hand in the second year, even though I use it only once a week! Also, its performance has significantly decreased, and it cannot reach under chairs and beds anymore. Therefore, I cannot clean thoroughly when I use it. When I called customer service to explain the issues I'm experiencing, the suggestions were ridiculous, like using gloves or a piece of sponge to protect my hand from calluses. I expect the brand to acknowledge the issues with the old V8 model and provide a viable solution, such as offering a discount on a new version as a replacement.
