I Report Amazon Return Problem With DHL Express

Although I am generally very satisfied with Amazon, I faced an issue when trying to return an order worth ₺600. On September 16, 2025, around 11 a.m., I went to the Çatmaca DHL e-commerce branch in Bartın to complete my return. I had already initiated the return process through the Amazon app, but I was told that the provided return code was only valid for DHL Express. Since there is no DHL Express branch in Bartın, I was advised to go all the way to Zonguldak. For a return worth just ₺600, it does not make sense to travel to another city.

I then selected the option in the Amazon app to pay the shipping cost myself, but I was told that they still could not process the return with the barcode and return number provided. At the moment, this is not a major loss, but in the future, for higher-value purchases, I do not want to face the burden of traveling to another city just to return a product. Even if I am willing to pay out of pocket, the system does not allow the return to be processed.

Previously, I could return items easily from the same branch, so I don’t understand what has changed. There should be a simpler and more practical way to handle Amazon returns. I want to continue using the Amazon app with confidence, just as I did before.

I request a clear solution to this problem and proper guidance for completing my return smoothly. Lastly, I would like to note that the seller continued with the shipping process even though I canceled the order on the very first day before the shipment had begun, which created additional complications.
