Omnipod DASH Connection Error Prevents Insulin Bolus
Although it had only been a few hours since I applied my Omnipod DASH insulin pump, the device kept giving me a connection error even when I tried to deliver a bolus, preventing me from administering insulin. I repeatedly restarted my phone, the app, and the Bluetooth connection and followed all the troubleshooting instructions, but the problem has not been resolved. As a result, my blood glucose levels have remained consistently high. The fact that I have also started experiencing pump malfunctions frequently over the past few months makes this situation even more concerning for me.
At around 5:30 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, I contacted Medsalus technical support and explained the problem I was experiencing in detail. I spoke with Ms. Ö**** from technical support and followed the troubleshooting steps she provided, but the pump still did not work. Despite this, no service or malfunction report was opened, my issue was essentially dismissed, and I did not receive a proper or satisfactory response to my messages.
I request that this malfunction involving a device I rely on continuously and that directly affects my health be taken seriously and addressed urgently. I also request that the necessary technical inspection of the pump be carried out as quickly as possible and that the device be replaced. In addition, I expect the technical support team to provide clearer, more informative, and solution-oriented assistance.
