Columbia Rain Jacket Developed Pilling on Shoulder and Sleeve

I purchased a Columbia rain jacket, trusting the brand’s reputation, but it has been a disappointment. The jacket developed noticeable pilling on the right shoulder and sleeve after limited use. When I reported the issue to the store, they questioned if I had used dry cleaning, which I had not.
I sent the jacket for warranty inspection, only to be told that the issue was not due to a manufacturing or material defect. This response is unacceptable from a brand like Columbia. I regret trusting the brand and now plan to escalate this matter to the Consumer Court. I urge Columbia to reconsider their decision and address this issue promptly.
