ClarityCheck's Refusal To Remove My Information

For more than four months I have been trying to get my personal information removed from ClarityCheck’s system and search results, in line with their own privacy policy, but my email address and phone number are still not deleted. As stated in their privacy policy, I contacted them via email at [email protected] and have now sent around twenty emails over this period. For a long time I received only repeated automated replies that did not actually result in any action. Later I started getting replies under the names Daniel and Natasha, and about a month ago Natasha wrote that it would take 30 days for my information to be removed. Despite that clear statement and the time that has passed since, my data has still not been removed. More recently, I have been receiving messages signed as “David” which clearly look like bot‑style scripted answers. For the last two months, the replies have consisted of changing scripts, including claims that they are working to remove my information, followed by references to some supposed “order” that I allegedly placed or paid for. Whenever I ask for basic details about this order, such as the date, what it was for, or the amount, they stop responding to that point, which feels highly suspicious. In other replies they claim they do not collect or share information, which directly contradicts their own privacy policy (for example, section 2 at the bottom of their site). They also state that they do not know when my information will be used, which is not a satisfactory or reassuring answer. After four months of constant emailing, scripted replies, contradictions and unfulfilled promises, my phone number and email address are still present in their system. I request that ClarityCheck permanently and completely remove my phone number and email address from their database and search results as soon as possible, and that they confirm in writing once this deletion has been fully carried out.
