BYD Delivered My New Vehicle Without The Rear BYD Badge
On July 14, 2025, I received delivery of my brand-new 2025 model BYD DMI vehicle from the BYD dealership in Samsun.
After taking delivery of the car, I later noticed that the “BYD” emblem, which should normally be located on the rear trunk area, was completely missing. This is clearly an issue that should have been corrected either at the factory or during the sales and delivery process. However, when I reported the issue to the dealership, I was asked to pay for the missing emblem.
Later, when I visited the BYD dealership in Malatya for maintenance service, I brought up the issue once again. Approximately two to three months ago, I was told that I would need to pay around $33 for the “BYD” emblem that should already have been installed on the vehicle from the beginning.
I do not accept being charged for correcting a missing part on a brand-new vehicle delivered incomplete. Even though this deficiency originated from the manufacturer or dealership, it is unfair to transfer the cost and responsibility to the customer.
I request that the missing “BYD” emblem on the rear trunk of my vehicle be installed properly, free of charge, and within a reasonable time in a manner worthy of the BYD brand.
I want the missing BYD logo in the rear trunk of my car to be installed quickly, without any charge. Since I purchased two vehicles, I expect this issue to be resolved promptly and with attention.
