I recently converted USD to TRY on Bybit and incurred a significant loss of ₺9 per dollar. While purchasing dollars on the platform is expensive, the sell rate during conversion is unreasonably low, causing a considerable financial loss. I had an urgent payment to make, so I had no choice but to convert my 190 USD. However, the return was far below my expectations.
The platform transferred only ₺2,700 to my account (TR86**3731) on 12.11.2024 at 19:47 for 190 USD. This disparity in buying and selling rates is unjustifiable. Bybit must explain and address these unfair practices to prevent further exploitation of its users. I demand compensation for this loss and a transparent rate policy moving forward.
