Bosch Charged Me ₺4500 For a Warranty Part After Promising It Would Be Free
Unfortunately, we bought all our appliances from Bosch. Before the warranty expired, we extended the coverage. The inner door shelf holder of our refrigerator broke off on its own from the door, even though there was no problem with the shelf itself. I called the service, and they confirmed it wasn’t a user error but an issue with the refrigerator, and that it would be replaced under warranty. They left, but 15 days later, they called and asked for a photo, which we sent. After that, no one contacted us. We called again, explaining that we couldn’t use the fridge and asked when it would be replaced. They told us it was subject to a head office fee and demanded ₺4500. They offered to sell the part with a Bosch service warranty and even offered a ₺1000 discount as part of their "customer satisfaction" program. How can a globally recognized brand charge for warranty parts? What are we paying for with the warranty? This situation has left us feeling let down. All our appliances were Bosch, but from now on, I will not recommend them to anyone and will not buy them again for my home. Bosch headquarters and their services never contacted us, made us suffer, and then demanded a fee. I congratulate you for handling things this way. Initially, it was supposed to be covered under warranty, and then they unjustly demanded a fee. Congratulations bosch for makıng customers suffer. Forget about contacting us again!
You called, but you still say political answers. I guess I couldn't explain it: you first said there would be a free replacement under warranty, but then you said it would be paid. This is not fitting for the Bosch brand. Your responses, as if mocking people, are not acceptable. This is not fitting for a world-renowned brand like Bosch. Making people suffer in the summer and then making extra demands, we understand very well your concept of customer satisfaction, so that no one buys Bosch brand products again.
