Appeal Regarding BlaBlaCar Account Suspension and Fare Policy Clarification

Dear Blablacar Support Team, I have been an active and dedicated user of the Blablacar platform for a long time, with over 30 completed trips and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. However, I was recently surprised to find that my account has been blocked. I understand that this may be related to instances where I requested a fare different from the maximum fare suggested by the application. I would like to clarify the situation: Due to the rising fuel prices in my country, the maximum fare suggested by your system often does not cover the actual fuel cost for certain routes. Therefore, in some cases, I have discussed and mutually agreed with passengers on a different fare before the journey began. The passengers were always fully free to accept or reject the proposed fare. Importantly, I have never requested any additional payment after the journey was completed. There were also situations where passengers asked to be dropped off at locations outside the specified route. In such cases, again with mutual agreement, I provided this service for an additional charge discussed beforehand. In some rare cases, when I was suspicious about a passenger or did not feel safe, I quoted a higher fare intentionally to discourage them from booking. Again, this was never a forced or manipulative action; passengers always had the freedom to choose. Furthermore, there have been passengers who were more concerned about travel comfort and faster arrival times, and willingly offered to pay more than the listed fare — which I accepted only after clear mutual consent. To reiterate: I have never demanded more money than what was agreed upon before the trip. In light of the above, I kindly request the following: A detailed review of my case and reactivation of my Blablacar account, A reconsideration of the fare policy in Turkey, especially taking into account the significantly increasing transportation and fuel costs, A more flexible fare limit that considers actual public transportation prices between the departure and destination points.
