BetterMe Charging Me Monthly Without My Consent

I signed up for a one-month subscription with BetterMe, thinking it would end automatically once the month was over. To my surprise, I recently discovered that they’ve been charging me every month without my knowledge—for a subscription I never authorized to continue. I tried to cancel it through their app and website, but there’s no clear option to do so. It’s like they’ve made it intentionally difficult to stop the charges. This feels deceptive and completely unfair. I never received any email notifications, reminders, or warnings that the subscription was auto-renewing. BetterMe, I want this subscription canceled immediately. I also demand a full refund for the charges that were taken from my account without my consent. You should not be allowed to operate this way—trapping users in hidden subscriptions is not how you build trust.

That is why each user has an opportunity to cancel the subscription beforehand. There is an option to cancel a subscription directly in the app (More → My Profile → Manage Subscription) or by contacting our support team.
