Beko Dryer Leaking & Smelly (KM90 Model)

I received my Beko KM90 9kg dryer on December 29, 2023. I use it frequently, around 2-3 times per week. After a few weeks, I observed moisture buildup while cleaning the bottom of the machine, where hot air is blown out. Initially, I paid little attention to this. However, last weekend, I detected an odor emanating from the machine. When I opened it to clean the bottom half, I discovered an extraordinary amount of water. I called the authorized service and set up an appointment. I inquired whether I should clean it myself or whether they wanted to inspect it. The guy on the phone told me I could clean it and demonstrated it over video call. The next day, when I attempted to explain the problem to the service technician, they would not listen or look at the video. They only responded that it was typical for water to flow out of the machine's bottom. I claimed that it is antithetical to the logic of a dryer, and that other customers have not observed similar problems. Their reaction was condescending, implying that I should take it to the Consumer Arbitration Committee for a refund and purchase another brand. I was surprised by their lack of a proper solution. When I talked with friends who use dryers, they agreed that the service's reaction was unsatisfactory. If the odor and water leaks cannot be rectified, I will demand a replacement because I am dissatisfied with Beko's service.

I would like to thank the company representative for their prompt response. Another service was assigned again. I was told that seeing water in the machine is normal and that it is actually moisture. It was indicated that there could be some water in the bottom tray. It was said that the reason for the odor is related to the use of fabric softener. I leave the comments regarding this response to you because this is supposedly normal. For now, I have not followed the first service's advice to go to the consumer arbitration board, request a refund, and buy a dryer from another brand.
