About three months ago, I purchased the Asics Gel 1090 v2 shoes through the Asics store on Hepsiburada for around ₺3,000. By the end of the second month, the stitching began to come apart, and the problem has progressively worsened. It is very clear that the overlapping parts of the shoe are pulling apart at the seams, which indicates a structural defect.
To resolve the issue, I submitted a product review request via Hepsiburada. However, my claim was rejected with the vague explanation of “user error,” without any detailed reasoning. I appealed the decision and asked for a proper investigation, but once again I received the same denial, with no further explanation. Out of frustration, I contacted Asics customer service directly, only to be met with automated, generic responses that provided no real support or accountability.
I strongly reject the idea that this problem is due to “user error.” A premium product like Asics should not suffer visible stitching failures within such a short time of normal use. It is unacceptable to shift the blame to the customer instead of addressing a clear manufacturing defect.
I demand that this product be accepted for return and that the ₺3,000 I paid be refunded immediately. My invoice number is HBA2025000001738. I expect Asics to stand behind its brand reputation and resolve this issue promptly.
