On 02/28/2024, I purchased a pair of Asics EX89 sneakers from the official Asics seller on Trendyol. I used the shoes in Adana mainly for daily wear, around three to four times per week. After just 16–17 months, I noticed visible cracks on the leather upper and tears forming in the inner lining. I even submitted photos as proof when reporting the issue.
The invoice number for my purchase is PY12024000003727. I contacted the seller through Trendyol and sent the shoes in for inspection. However, the response I received claimed that the damage was not manufacturing-related, and my request for a refund or replacement was rejected.
This decision is unacceptable. A shoe at this price point, which I purchased for ₺2,279.20, should not deteriorate so quickly under normal usage conditions. Asics initially provides a two-year evaluation period, but when issues actually arise, they refuse to stand behind their product. This has left me deeply frustrated and disappointed.
I firmly request a full refund for my Asics EX89 sneakers. Customers deserve durability, fairness, and accountability when products fail long before their expected lifespan.
