On September 17, 2025, I purchased a size 40.5 Asics GEL-ROCKET 11 white volleyball shoe from the Asics store on Trendyol. I used the product only indoors and in full compliance with the care and usage instructions. About 40 days after purchase, noticeable yellowing appeared on the white parts of the shoes. At first, I thought it was dirt and washed them, but about a week later the yellowing appeared again. This time, thinking it might have been caused by washing or drying, I cleaned and dried them much more carefully, yet the same issue occurred again.
As a result, I shipped the product on February 18, 2026, for an authorized inspection by Asics. On the morning of February 20, 2026, after only one day, I was informed that my return request had been rejected on the grounds of “user error.” I do not consider such a short review period to reflect a proper and detailed evaluation. The return code provided to me during the return process is 7330030397606315.
I have been choosing Asics for a long time and regularly purchase volleyball shoes, and I have never experienced this type of issue with previous Asics products. Because of my trust in the brand, I find this negative experience and the quick rejection under the claim of “user error” unacceptable. I believe the yellowing may be due to a manufacturing or material defect rather than improper use.
For this product, which I purchased for $89, I request that my grievance be resolved by approving my return and refunding the full amount, or by replacing the shoes with the same model in defect-free condition. As a consumer, I respectfully request that my legal rights be honored, including any rights related to defective products, exchanges, refunds, or other applicable protections. I believe that a large and established brand like Asics should not disregard the satisfaction of loyal customers who have chosen the brand for years.
