BeautyPlus Charged $20 Immediately Instead of After the 3-Day Free Trial
On May 18, 2026, I downloaded the “beautyplus Pro - Annual” app from the App Store on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The app advertised a three-day free trial followed by a charge of approximately $20. Relying on the promise that I would receive a three-day free trial, I approved the purchase. However, instead of being charged after the three-day trial ended, the amount was charged to my card immediately.
This situation was misleading and caused me financial harm. As soon as I saw that the payment had been processed, I canceled the subscription on the same day, May 18. I then checked the purchase in my Apple account and submitted a refund request through the “Report a Problem” section for the transaction with order number MLYBZ237mm. Despite this, my refund request was rejected with the response, “We found that your purchase does not meet the requirements for a refund. This is the final decision.”
I believe I was unfairly treated because the app’s “3-day free trial” offer was misleading and my payment was not refunded even though I canceled the subscription on the same day. I cannot reach live support through the app and have not received any further response. I therefore request a full refund of the approximately $20 charged through the beautyplus Pro - Annual app and ask that my financial loss be resolved.
