I Was Charged a Fee for an ATM Withdrawal I Could Not Complete
On August 19, 2024, I attempted to withdraw ₺10,000 from an Akbank ATM in Gömeç, Balıkesir. However, the ATM refused to dispense this amount and displayed a warning that no more than ₺8,000 could be withdrawn. There was no restriction or block on my account, and I confirmed this with customer service. Additionally, during this transaction, a fee/commission was charged to me. This was the first time I experienced such an issue. I immediately redeposited the money I withdrew. I do not want to pay for a service I did not receive, and I am requesting a refund of the deducted fee. I can provide the customer or reference number related to the transaction if needed. I expect an urgent resolution and explanation regarding this matter.
