Akbank ATM Overlimit Withdrawal Fee
As can be understood from the circular on the procedures and principles regarding fees to be collected from financial consumers (number: 2020/7), ATM over-limit withdrawal fees are not legal and there are statements that no fee can be charged for deposit-withdrawal transactions you make for your own account from ATMs belonging to the bank. On 20.02.2025, I withdrew ₺10,000 from an Akbank ATM with my personal Bank Card, but I noticed that a deduction was made. I called customer service, they said they could not help in this regard in any way. I also made a request and received a negative response via e-mail. (added as an attachment) When we withdraw our own money from an ATM belonging to our own bank, it seizes our money under the name of "over-limit withdrawal". Since this limit was created without my knowledge, it is not possible for me to foresee it. The bank is making unfair profits in this way and we are being victimized. Even if the relevant bank informs, it is obvious that the situation is unlawful. I demand the return of my money and the recording of my complaint about the situation.
