Akbank ATM Took My ₺2400 Deposit and Refuses to Return It Despite My Complaint
On September 27, 2024, at around 5:00 PM, while depositing money at Akbank’s ATM number 00005098 on the main street, ₺2,400 of the amount I deposited got stuck in the machine. Despite immediately reporting this to Akbank’s customer service, they insisted that no such issue occurred. I requested for the camera footage to be reviewed, but all my requests were denied. Akbank is refusing to return my money due to an error made by their machine. While I don’t believe that Akbank, as a corporation, would stoop to keeping this money, they must still be accountable for the actions of their employees. Akbank is turning a blind eye to this mistake, and there seems to be no other explanation. If this continues, I will close my Akbank accounts and cards, which I have used for years. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, and that my money is returned after reviewing the camera footage and other evidence.
