We have been operating a restaurant in Edirne Merkez, and for a long time, we’ve been experiencing serious payment transparency issues with Yemeksepeti. Despite completing dozens of orders, we are consistently left in the dark regarding the breakdown of deductions and our actual earnings. For example, for an order with a sale price of ₺280, our “estimated earnings” are shown as only ₺96.40 — with no explanation as to how this figure is calculated.
We’ve requested detailed breakdowns repeatedly, but Yemeksepeti either sends Excel reports where deduction columns are shown as “0” or fails to itemize which commissions were applied to which orders. Even when we share order numbers and dates, we’re met with automated replies like “please check the Excel file,” which offer no real support.
What we need is clarity and transparency. The platform should clearly state:
Total deductions for each order,
The actual net amount transferred to us,
Explanations for blank or “0” fields in the reports,
And genuine, human responses instead of scripted replies.
Due to these ongoing issues and the complete lack of financial clarity, we have been forced to pause our operations for two weeks. We are sharing screenshots that clearly highlight the inconsistencies, and we demand immediate action.
Unless Yemeksepeti resolves this urgently and transparently, we will have no choice but to take legal action. This is not just an accounting issue — it directly affects our livelihood.
