First, verify your device's mic permissions and internet connection to confirm it is not a technical issue.

If everything on your end is working properly, the mute could have been imposed by a room admin or triggered automatically by the system's moderation tools.

These actions may occur as a result of false flags linked to background noise, loudness levels, or automatic content filters.

To remedy this issue, try exiting and rejoining the room or restarting the program. If the mute persists or occurs across many rooms, please contact Yalla support at [email protected].
