I just bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G phone, and it was perfectly fine until the very last update. Now, after the update, my battery is draining extremely fast! Even when I'm not using the phone, the battery just dies on its own.

This is completely unacceptable. A software update should improve my phone's performance, not destroy its battery life and make it unreliable. I paid good money for this device, expecting it to be a high-performing smartphone.

Mi Store and Xiaomi, you need to fix this severe battery drain issue on my Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G immediately! Release a corrective update or provide a solution that restores my phone's proper battery life. This is ruining my phone experience, and I demand a prompt resolution.
