Egypt's country code is +20, and scammers often use odd foreign VoIP calls to get money from people. Be careful in Egypt if you don't know anyone there.
Check the caller's WhatsApp page. A Meta-verified/green-tick badge can show that the caller is a real business, but not having a badge doesn't mean the caller is fake. Don't give money or share security codes.
To lower the risk, go to Settings > Privacy > Calls > "Silence unknown callers."
Then, from the call information screen, block or report the person. Calls won't ring, but they will show up in your log so you can look them over.
Requests for your 6-digit WhatsApp code, payment information, or threats from people saying they are cops or tax agents are all red flags. You can hang up, block, or use an official page to get in touch with the company.
