How can I extend the storage period of files on WeTransfer’s servers?

In the free version of WeTransfer, the storage period for files is fixed at 7 days and cannot be extended.
If you need longer availability, you’ll have to re-upload the file or use the paid WeTransfer Pro version.
In Pro, you can set the storage period yourself — from 1 week to 1 year — and extend it at any time before the file is deleted.
To do this:
Log into your Pro account.
Go to the Transfers (Sent files) section.
Select the desired file and adjust the storage duration.
Confirm the changes — the link will remain active until the new date.
