Volkswagen Passat Broke Down Again After Costly Turbo Repair
I own a Volkswagen Passat with license plate 20 Dr. 855. Shortly after picking it up from the authorised service center in July, my car broke down again, leaving me stranded on the road at 3 a.m. That night, I lost my hotel reservation and had to travel about 100 km by taxi. During this time, the service provided no assistance—no replacement vehicle, no reimbursement for taxi expenses, and no discount of any kind. Despite having all maintenance performed regularly at the authorized service center, my car had already broken down twice before and experienced multiple malfunctions. In the most recent breakdown, the turbo was replaced, even though the vehicle had undergone maintenance just 15 days earlier, and I was never informed of any warnings or recommendations regarding the turbo. I spent around ₺75,000 on the first maintenance and repair, and another ₺72,000 after the breakdown. I request compensation for the inconvenience I have suffered and a refund of the amounts I paid.
