How do I set up Verizon Voicemail?

Configuring your Verizon voicemail can be completed on any phone, regardless of whether it is your own. Simply follow these instructions:

- From your phone, dial *86. Dial your 10-digit phone number if you're using someone else's device.
- Press the # key to stop the default greeting when it starts.
- To select your preferred voicemail language, simply follow the prompts and press the # key to confirm.
- If this is your first time setting up Verizon voicemail, enter a password with 4 to 7 digits or make one. Remember that your password cannot contain consecutive or repetitious digits.
- In order to verify your password, press the # key.
- Make a note of your signature (your name) and your unique greeting, then double-check them by pressing the # key.

Access the Voicemail tab in the Phone app to configure Verizon voicemail on an iPhone. You may come across a "Set Up Now" button or a "Greeting" button, depending on your voicemail usage patterns.
