Varta 100 Ah Silver Dynamic Battery Fails After Only Eight Months
Approximately eight months ago, I purchased a Varta 100 Ah Silver Dynamic car battery from Emir Akü, an authorized Varta dealer located in Bağcılar Mahmutbey, Istanbul. Having relied on Varta products for years, I routinely replace my vehicle's battery every two to three years. However, this newly purchased unit failed completely after just eight months of normal operation.
Last week, I submitted the failed battery alongside my valid warranty certificate to Emir Akü for technical evaluation under warranty. The battery was installed properly, maintained strictly according to standard operating conditions, and suffered no external impacts or improper handling. Despite this, the dealer rejected the warranty claim, falsely attributing the internal failure to "terminal post deformation."
I am currently forced to rely on a temporary loaner battery while my eight-month-old unit remains unusable. Rejecting a premature battery failure on a premium brand under the pretext of minor terminal deformation—without evidence of installation error—is an unacceptable warranty evasion.
I demand that Varta corporate technical services re-examine this case independently, overrule the dealer's rejection, and issue a brand-new, defect-free replacement battery under warranty.
