I Bought an Under Armour T-Shirt That Wore Out in Months and Was Denied Any Support

I purchased a T-shirt from the Under Armour store in İstinye Park as a gift for my brother. After just 5–6 months, I was shocked to see the condition it was in—heavily pilled, worn out, and looking like a years-old garment. I sent the item in for inspection not once but twice, and both times it was returned with no resolution. Worse yet, I had to travel to İzmir on two separate occasions just to submit the product for inspection.

I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee because I find it unacceptable that a sportswear company like Under Armour refuses to stand behind its products. While other brands like Zara offer 2-year guarantees and consistent after-sales service, Under Armour dismisses clear defects as "user error" after just a few months of use. This isn’t just poor quality—it’s poor customer care.

Let this be a warning: don’t expect Under Armour to take responsibility for faulty products. If you’re investing in premium-priced sportswear, look elsewhere unless you’re prepared to be ignored when things go wrong. I sincerely hope Under Armour reconsiders its stance and starts treating its customers with the respect they deserve.
