Umingle Wrongfully Banned My Account for Gender Searching – Request Reactivation
I have been using Umingle on my iPad and on 13/07/2026 my account was suddenly banned while I was only chatting via text. I was not sending any inappropriate content or trying to violate the rules in any way. At one point, I only asked the other person “boy or girl” because I was curious about who I was talking to, and I did not know this could be interpreted as “gender searching” or a bannable offense. Immediately after that single question, my account was banned with the reason stated as “Gender Searching”. I genuinely do not remember this being clearly explained as a behavior that could lead to a permanent ban when I started using the app, and I had no intention of causing harm or abusing the platform. I only asked once and was simply trying to better understand the person I was chatting with. Now, when I try to access Umingle, I only see a “You are banned” screen that includes a Ban ID and an option to instantly remove the ban only if I pay 9.99 USD. Since I did not knowingly break any rules and I have never made any purchases inside Umingle before, I find it very unfair that my access has been completely blocked and I am being asked to pay money to get my account back. I kindly request that my ban be reviewed in detail and lifted without any payment requirement, considering that this was an unintentional situation and I was not clearly informed that asking such a simple question could result in a permanent ban. I would like my access to Umingle to be restored so that I can continue using the platform while fully respecting the rules going forward.
