Uber Charged Me $19 for a Ride I Never Took

On September 22, 2026, I tried to request a taxi through the Uber app from Istanbul Altunizade. However, even though the ride never took place and I did not receive any service, I noticed a $19 charge on my account. My bank statement shows a $19 pending authorization from iyzico/dl uberride. I did not take any Uber ride for $19 that day, and there is no trip record matching this amount.

I did not receive any transportation service related to this transaction, I was unable to request the taxi in the first place, and I could not find a clear explanation in the app either. I subsequently contacted customer service through messaging, but I still have not received a refund and the issue remains unresolved.

I request that the $19 charged to my account without any service being provided be refunded to my card as soon as possible, and that the necessary checks be carried out to prevent similar unauthorized charges from happening again.
