Toyota Hilux AC Unit Unresolved Cooling Problem

I took delivery of my Toyota Hilux in August 2022. About 7 months later, in March 2023, I noticed that the air conditioning was not cooling properly and took the vehicle to the authorized Toyota Çavdarlı Bursa service center on April 3, 2023.
The required part was only supplied on September 15, 2023, and replaced. First, the compressor was changed, and when that did not solve the issue, the evaporator was replaced. After these repairs, the AC worked properly for a while. However, in January 2024, the cooling issue occurred again, and I returned the vehicle to the service. I was told there was no gas issue, and a colored gas was added to detect leaks.
In March 2026, I noticed once again that the AC was not cooling, and I took the vehicle back to the same service center on April 8, 2026. This time, they stated there was no gas leak but gave an unclear explanation such as “no leak, but gas collapse,” and failed to identify the root cause. They performed maintenance and recharged the AC gas, charging me $105 + tax.
Despite previous warranty-covered part replacements, the service center has still not been able to identify or permanently fix the problem. Instead, they continue to apply temporary solutions (gas refill and billing) without resolving the underlying issue.
I have not yet contacted Toyota headquarters, but if this continues, I am considering escalating the issue to Toyota headquarters, consumer authorities, or even Toyota Japan.
During this process, I was also charged $15 + tax on January 29, 2024, for an AC cleaner, and $105 + tax again on April 7, 2026, for AC gas refill. However, the AC issue first appeared only 7 months after delivery, and despite major components like the compressor and evaporator being replaced under warranty, the issue persists.
According to Toyota’s official policy, light commercial vehicles are covered by a 2-year/100,000 km legal warranty and up to 3 years/100,000 km under the Toyota Repair Assurance System. Therefore, I believe that the warranty coverage for previously replaced AC components may still be valid.
As a result, I request that the root cause of the AC cooling issue be clearly and technically identified, that the problem be permanently resolved without any additional cost to me, and if the issue cannot be resolved, that it be treated as a manufacturing defect.
Additionally, I request a full refund of all charges related to temporary fixes, such as AC gas refills, which did not resolve the issue.
