Tinder Locked My New Account After Selfie Verification Without Warning or Explanation

I recently downloaded the Tinder app and created an account. However, shortly after signing up, my profile was suddenly locked with no warning, no clear reason, and no explanation. All I see is a message saying, “Your selfie is under review.” It’s been hours, and nothing has changed.

I haven’t violated any community guidelines or engaged in any suspicious behavior. I simply used the app as intended. When prompted for identity verification, I followed instructions and submitted my selfie, yet the review process seems stuck with no update.

This is incredibly frustrating — I didn’t even get the chance to use the platform properly, and now I’m locked out without knowing why. The lack of transparency and support is unacceptable. Tinder provides no direct way to speak to a real person or escalate this kind of issue.

I’m requesting immediate action: unlock my account or give me a clear reason why it was restricted, and ensure that selfie verifications are processed in a timely manner. I expect better treatment from a platform this large.
