The North Face Jacket Defect Causes Insulation to Leak After 6 Months

We purchased a black The North Face jacket about six months ago. We noticed that the insulation inside the jacket has started to come out from underneath and around the logo on the front. Experiencing this kind of deformation after a short period of normal use was disappointing in terms of product quality.
After encountering this issue, we contacted the company, but we were told that it was “user error.” We do not find this response acceptable, as the jacket has not been subjected to any unusual use and has only been used for a relatively short time.
We believe this defect is due to a manufacturing issue and request that the jacket be replaced with a new one.
