My Steam Account Was Stolen

My Steam account was hacked. This morning, I received a message on Steam from a friend, saying they had received a gift code. Trusting that my friend would inform me if their account had been compromised, I clicked on the link. It redirected me from Steam to a fake Steam Google page. Thinking it was legitimate, I entered my account details, and it asked for a code that looked identical to the one Steam usually sends to my Gmail account. I entered the code, and my account was gone. Even though I emailed Steam support, I didn’t receive a response all day. When I checked, it showed that my account was accessed from Frankfurt. This experience has made me realize how easily scammers exploit trust and mimic official platforms.
