Spoticar Bahçelievler Forced Unnecessary Insurance & Pulled Car Listing
I visited Spoticar Bahçelievler after seeing a used car listing on Sahibinden.com (Listing ID: 1196033560). The same day, I went to inspect the vehicle, and we verbally agreed on the sale terms. When I was about to place a deposit to hold the car, they suddenly informed me that their company policy requires buyers to purchase insurance and comprehensive coverage (kasko) through them—otherwise, they wouldn't sell the car.
I told them I was willing to get insurance but didn’t want their kasko, yet they insisted it was mandatory. When I pointed out that kasko isn’t legally required, they refused to sell me the car and shortly after removed the listing.
How can Spoticar enforce a completely unnecessary and forced kasko requirement? This is unfair and unethical. Spoticar, explain this practice and stop misleading buyers! Has anyone else faced this issue?
