Snapchat Permanently Locked My Account Without Reason
Out of nowhere, I received an email from Snapchat saying that my account had been permanently locked. I was shocked because I didn’t do anything wrong—there was no warning, no explanation, and absolutely no chance to appeal the decision. The system just shut me out, and that was it.
What makes this worse is that there are countless accounts on Snapchat—especially ones using the name “showcu”—that constantly post explicit and inappropriate content in their stories, yet those accounts remain untouched. Meanwhile, I shared a humorous meme from Twitter that wasn’t offensive or inappropriate, and I’m the one who gets banned?
This is unfair and highlights the failure of Snapchat’s moderation system. There needs to be a proper appeal process. I strongly object to this decision and demand that my account be reactivated immediately. Snapchat, if you’re going to enforce rules, at least apply them fairly and transparently.
