Simple Life Charged My Credit Card Without My Permission

Although I have never used the Simple Life app or created any membership or subscription, I discovered an unauthorized charge on the credit card issued in my name by VakıfBank. On October 10, 2026, a charge of approximately $53 was made to my card under the description “Simple Premium,” and the transaction is clearly visible in my VakıfBank card statement. I did not authorize this transaction through the app or any other channel, and I never knowingly signed up for this service.

Before this charge was made, I received no notification by text message, email, or in-app alert. Therefore, I did not give my explicit and informed consent to the transaction. I discovered the charge about six days later while reviewing my card statement, and so far, I have identified only this one transaction. When I contacted VakıfBank, the bank was able to identify Simple Life as the source of the charge but could not provide any further details. This unauthorized transaction has caused me financial loss and raised serious concerns about the security of my card information.

I demand a full and prompt refund of the approximately $53 charged to my card from Simple Life or the relevant payment provider. If any membership or subscription has been created in my name in your systems, I want it canceled immediately and permanently. I also request that any card information stored in your systems be completely deleted. In addition, I expect a thorough investigation into which membership, account, or transaction was used to process this unauthorized charge, along with a clear written explanation of the findings. I also expect you to strengthen your security measures and controls to prevent this from happening again.

I am attaching a screenshot of my bank statement showing the unauthorized charge. I request an urgent investigation, a resolution to the financial loss I have suffered, and a full refund of the amount charged without my knowledge or consent as soon as possible.
